**The Position**

As a Regional Medical Advisor, you will contribute actively in medico-marketing activities in the business area/portfolio and support in implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy in the country. You will be responsible to execute the Indian medical strategy into local activities in your designated region; build, maintain and nurture the excellent scientific relationship with all the key influencers and stakeholders, training and educational activities for Physicians and other Health Care Professionals (HCPs) working with diabetes and medical support to brand team.
- You will stay updated on scientific knowledge by actively participating in scientific meetings, gather clinical insights/needs/feedback from key opinion leaders and communicate to internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for educating and training the field and marketing personnel and other relevant stakeholders regarding all aspects of disease, product and therapy relevant to promotional strategy.
- You will build a strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through on-going/robust scientific interactions.
- To assist marketing and sales team in sharpening and positioning of product and promotional strategies. Foresee the challenges and changing market dynamics and make timely corrective and preventive actions.

**Qualifications**
- MD in Pharmacology from a reputed institution.
- MBBS/MDS/BDS with minimum 2 years of industry work experience in medical affairs. Allied experience in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical research, Medical writing, etc. will also be considered)
- Experience and strong scientific knowledge/ interest in blood disorders and/ or OBG therapy field will be advantageous.
- Good collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as good in communication and negotiation.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex situations.
- Skills for planning, execution and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind and strive towards working with both operational as well as more strategic tasks.
