**Job Title**: Pre-Primary Coordinator
**Employment Type**: Full-time / Part-time
**Job Summary**:
The Pre-Primary Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the pre-primary section of the school, ensuring high-quality education and overall development of young learners. The coordinator will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment conducive to early childhood learning.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Development**: Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning materials in line with educational standards and the school's philosophy.
- **Teacher Support**: Provide guidance and support to pre-primary teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, classroom management, and assessments.
- **Classroom Observation**: Regularly observe classrooms to ensure effective teaching practices, child engagement, and safety protocols are being followed.
- **Parent Communication**: Maintain open lines of communication with parents through regular meetings, updates on student progress, and addressing concerns.
- **Staff Training**: Organize workshops, training, and professional development programs for pre-primary staff to keep them updated with the latest educational methodologies.
- **Child Development Focus**: Monitor each child's development, addressing any learning or behavioral concerns with appropriate strategies and interventions.
- **Coordination with Management**: Work with school management to ensure that resources, facilities, and policies are in place to support pre-primary education.
- **Event Coordination**: Organize and oversee special activities, celebrations, and events for the pre-primary section.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that the pre-primary program adheres to local educational laws, health and safety regulations, and any accreditation standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or early childhood education.
- Previous experience in a coordinating or leadership role in education is preferred.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and management.
- In-depth understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Patience and passion for working with young children.
