**Introduction**
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients' success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.

- Monitor security devices for any anomalies/events/incidents triggered and triage them and resolve
- Monitor the ticketing tool (SNOW/Remedy etc..) and ensure to respond to and resolve the incidents as per the SLAs.
- Perform daily health checks on network security devices
- Periodic backup of configuration files from security devices
- Report generation from security devices showcasing trends
- based on the internal and vendor knowledgebase
- Maintain and update the documentatioin
- Knowledge transfer to the newly onboard resources on the support process
- Basic understanding of Cloud computing
- Willing to work in 24x7 rotation shift including night shifts
- Working knowledge of using logging tools to under the issues
- Linux basics with Python or shell scripting is desirable
- Escalate the incident to Level 2 if all the troubleshooting steps are exhausted.
- Ready to work in 24x7 shifts.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Network Security
- L1/L1.5 level SOP based experience on Network Security Devices like Firewall/VPN/Proxy/IDS/IPS/Web filtering.
- Experience in Palo Alto/Fortinet/CiscoASA/Azure firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxy, Forcepoint/Zscalar Web filtering. Minimum exp in 2 to 3 technologies
- Contribute to L1/L1.5 SOPs/Runbook/KEDB in keeping process & documentation up to date.
- Experience in ITIL process for Incident, change and problem management
- Knowledge in TCP/IP and OSI/ISO Model
- Basic knowledge in routing and routing protocols
- Basic to good understanding of Microsoft cloud and MS native cloud network security tools
- Knowledge in IP addressing and subnetting
- Basic understanding in security threats like scanning, virus, worms, malwares, ransomware and phishing
- Understanding in security controls like Firewalls, Proxy and VPN
- Understanding in LAN and WAN
- Having worked in 2 of the products - PaloAlto/fortinet/Cisco FTD/Checkpoint/Bluecoat Proxy. Desirable in Fortigate and Paloalto
- Basic understanding in any monitoring tools
- Experience in maintaining and updating Help files, device inventory and run books - Optional

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Certifications: CCNA Security or NSE or CCSA or PCNSA or Equivalent
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
- Any entrant or Professional skill on shell scripting, AIX, Linux.
