The Content Cloud Business Unit at Acquia is responsible for building and maintaining the combined Acquia DAM (Digital Asset Management) and PIM (Product Information Management) product line, which is used by over 800 customers worldwide.

**About the role**

We're in search of a Product Owner to help us grow our DAM and PIM product line. As a Product Owner you will have a strong sense of empathy for the user; a high tolerance for ambiguity; the ability to navigate complex, interconnected systems; and demonstrate good instincts for judging priority and risk. You will work closely with Product Management and Design to identify customer problems and drive solutions. Together with an Agile team of engineers, you will oversee a coordinated development approach and will be accountable for product delivery of customer value.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Product Management and UX Design to understand market, customer, and user priorities within the product
- Translate product priorities into user stories to guide team through product development
- Communicate priorities and user stories to the Agile team, acting as the voice of customer during product development
- Own the Agile team's backlog to optimize delivery of product priorities while maintaining the technical integrity of services the team owns
- Participate in Agile meetings as a member of the team
- Monitor and evaluate progress at each stage of the process
- UAT (User Acceptance Test) features to validate user needs will be met
- Work with technology partners as needed to integrate 3rd-party capabilities into the product
- Communicate timelines and status to R&D stakeholders
- Coordinate deployment of new features and updates across 800+ customers
- Assist Product Management as needed with product launch and GTM (Go To Market) activities

**Skills**:

- Ability to work with large, distributed, international teams

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Formal education in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field
- At least two years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, preferably delivering SaaS product solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of modern development platforms and techniques (AWS preferred)
- Have navigated teams through adverse situations, either successfully or unsuccessfully
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate with internal teams and partners
- Strong understanding of the software's purpose and value provided to the customer
