**Job Title: Bar Manager / Mixologist**
**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and implement creative and seasonal cocktail menus that reflect current trends and appeal to our diverse customer base.
2. Train and mentor bar staff on proper cocktail preparation techniques, customer service protocols, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
3. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and conducting regular stock audits to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
4. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
5. Oversee the scheduling and performance evaluations of bar staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
6. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment maintenance and sanitation protocols.
7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize cost efficiencies.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques in mixology, continually seeking opportunities to enhance the bar's offerings and reputation.
9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations and cultivate a loyal clientele.
10. Collaborate with other department managers to coordinate special promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to drive traffic and revenue to the bar.
**Qualifications**:
1. Proven experience working as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, ingredients, and presentation techniques, with a demonstrated ability to craft unique and memorable beverages.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of diverse personalities to achieve common goals.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
5. Proficiency in bar management software and inventory control systems.
6. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
7. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred.
8. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
