Elevate is recruiting an **Associate **to drive forward our market leading Customer and Talent Community events and engagement programme. Our customers are a range of law firms and legal departments, and our Talent are the very best lawyers, paralegals, legal operations, risk and compliance professionals in the world.

**Specifically, an Associate will**:

- Conduct full intake briefing meetings with the regional teams to understand the scope, requirements, attendees, timelines and goals of each event/initiative.
- Coordinate all logistics and planning, providing progress updates and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Book event locations, liaise with external suppliers, handle catering and manage all associated logístical arrangements.
- Use Elevate collateral and templates to produce marketing materials and co-ordinate event publicity.
- Collate attendee lists and co-ordinate any pre and post event follow ups, event communications, including feedback and event success assessments.
- Work with the relevant teams internally to ensure external social messages are communicated and responses monitored.
- Coordinate with in-region teams and marketing to ensure event graphics align with the event theme and Elevate brand.
- Source, book, and coordinate suppliers for key aspects of the events, maintaining a balance between value and quality.
- Ensure smooth event operations through detailed briefing and itineraries through effective communication, instructing external contractors and internal staff of all relevant details and deliverables.
- Manage all workstreams within the events, from speakers/hosts, attendees, pre-event preparation, circulating content and itineraries for review and approval.
- Develop strong working relationships with external providers and develop a suite of preferred suppliers.
- Coordinate and deliver small ad hoc internal team events on occasion as required.
Support with the release of Talent community related communications and marketing campaigns.
- Proactively look at ways to improve the events process to better support Elevate, our Customers and Talent.
- Craft contingency plans where required.

**Experience**:

- 7-12 years of experience of leading on the logístical arrangements for in person and virtual events (large and small scale), PR experience a bonus.

**Skills for Success**:

- Multi-tasking is a priority given events will be run concurrently and be at varying phases of development and execution.
- You will have great language and written skills in English and are confident speaking to and communicating at all levels.
- You are creative, pro-active, confident, a natural planner and customer focused.
- Motivated and results-driven, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience in budget and supplier management with negotiation skills.
- A passion for live events and dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Coachable, adaptable, eager to learn and grow in role.
- IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
