**Key Skills Required**:

- Proficient in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Abiliity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Tax Return Review**:

- Review federal, state, and local tax returns prepared by junior associates for businesses, including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and LLCs.
- Ensure all tax filings are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable tax laws.
- Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and ensure clients take advantage of all available deductions and credits.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain a rigorous quality control process to ensure high standards of accuracy in all tax return reviews.
- Review and ensure that tax provisions and calculations are accurate and compliant with US GAAP.

**Technical Guidance**:

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff on complex tax issues.

**Client Communication**:

- Communicate with clients to discuss tax return findings, address questions, and provide tax planning and optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure all necessary documentation and information are gathered for accurate tax return preparation and review.

**Mentorship and Training**:

- Mentor and train junior associates in tax preparation and review processes.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on new tax regulations and best practices.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to improve the tax return preparation and review process.
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax services.
