As an EPR E-Waste Officer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the Extended Producer Responsibility program for electronic waste (E-Waste). You will play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring the E-Waste management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective E-Waste management and disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
EPR Program Implementation: Develop and implement strategies, policies, and guidelines for the effective implementation of the Extended Producer Responsibility program for E-Waste.

Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with E-Waste management rules and regulations, including collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with producers, importers, retailers, recyclers, and other stakeholders to ensure their active participation in E-Waste management activities and compliance with EPR obligations.

Monitoring and Reporting: Establish monitoring mechanisms to track E-Waste generation, collection, and management activities. Prepare regular reports on E-Waste data, including quantities, types, and destinations.

Capacity Building: Conduct training programs and awareness campaigns to educate producers, consumers, and other stakeholders about proper E-Waste handling, recycling, and disposal practices.

Auditing and Inspections: Conduct audits and inspections of E-Waste management facilities, recycling units, and collection centers to ensure adherence to environmental standards and regulations.

Enforcement Actions: Take necessary enforcement actions, such as issuing notices, penalties, or legal action, against non-compliant entities to ensure E-Waste management compliance.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated with technological advancements and best practices in E-Waste management. Identify and promote innovative solutions for E-Waste recycling and resource recovery.

Collaboration and Networking: Engage in collaborations with government agencies, industry associations, research organizations, and NGOs to promote sustainable E-Waste management practices and foster knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Sustainability, or a related field.

Knowledge of E-Waste management regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Familiarity with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks and their implementation.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data related to E-Waste management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination and capacity building.

Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and enforcement actions is desirable.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
