Associate - Payroll Services

**About the role**:
- To process the payrolls by meeting the obligations such as TAT, Accuracy levels as specified on the KPI
- To provide an effective and efficient payroll service to customers (Internal/External), ensuring accurate and timely payment of their employee’s salaries
- Respond to requests, queries, and complaints from external customers in a friendly and efficient manner to enhance customer loyalty & service
- To proactively seek learning opportunities to develop and maintain good knowledge of process, systems, clients, workflow and PIs
- To take an active part in training and development in all areas

- Prioritize and action daily tasks to accomplish the SLA
- Responsible for addressing of issues in a timely manner
- Understanding the organisation’s Mission/Vision/Values
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate work schedules
- Takes ownership of the work assigned and ensures completion timely
- Responsible for actioning first level instructions by & for the client (Processing Payrolls)
- Responsible for processing and meeting targets given by the Team Lead/Management
- Responsible for maintaining individual and team’s accuracy (Good Team Player)
- To build and nurture constructive relationships with the operations team
- Learn and focus on team efforts, team activities, team meetings etc
- Ensure all tasks & data are in the right format and shared timely as agreed deadlines (Meet SLA)
- Understands and abides by the work culture/values/code/ethics of the organisation
- Follow payroll checklists, business standards & quality processes thoroughly
- Adhere to work timings & leave schedules as said/agreed by management/policy
**Skills & experience**:
**Business Knowledge**
- End to end payroll knowledge is preferred
- Business outsourcing knowledge is preferred
- HR knowledge and experience are preferred **Essential Functional/Technical Skills**
- PC Literacy - Word, Excel - Intermediate (preferred)/Advance (added advantage)
- Moderate/Better knowledge of payroll systems (i.e. AS400 Payplan System & MoorepayHR/Nextgen)
- End to End Payroll Processing
- Formal payroll qualification i.e. **“CIPP Diploma or Foundation Degree”** (added advantage)
