As an Associate in our Announcement Capture Utility team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and setup Corporate Action events on our utility platform which will be published to multiple lines of businesses. Demonstrating strategic and tactical approach to solve problems and find solutions to new business requirements. **Responsibilities**:

- You are responsible for processing & validation of Income, Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate actions.
- Need to own issues related to the Announcement Capture Utility and ensure timely escalation to both Operational and Risk leads
- You will have to work with various internal teams to process transactions and resolve any exceptions and also respond to and resolve client inquiries on a timely manner
- Perform root cause analysis for their respective clients to increase STP and reduce client inquiries.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management and should be able to manage the issues exceptions above materiality thresholds for resolution
- Partner with client service teams, technology and strategy teams to help identify improvement opportunities for better client experience and gain ops efficiency.
- Maintain the highest individual and team standards for quality assurance as it relates to all investor or fund activity / changes; ensure team is 'Always Audit Ready'. You also expected to maintain all process documents; BCP, SOP, SLA and recertify on a timely basis and by updating KPI and KRI's on a daily basis

**Required Qualification, capabilities and skills**
- Minimum 8 years in Financial Services industry with Bachelor's degree, preferably in custody & fund services, markets or prime brokerage space
- Subject matter expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, Derivative
- Leadership with proven ability to manage by influence to promote change
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments
- Ability to work closely with business partners, interact with all staff levels and to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Self-starter and ability to learn quickly with strategic thinking and practical execution. Strong analytical and problem solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
- Anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives to ensure results

**Preferred Qualification, capabilities and skills**
- Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in Corporate Actions
- Ability to manage through a changing business landscape
