Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) English - Classes up to 10th

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Department (HOD) for English to lead our English department for classes up to 10th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the English department, including curriculum planning, development, and implementation.
- Supervise and mentor English teachers to ensure effective teaching practices and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the English department, setting targets and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Develop and coordinate innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning.
- Ensure alignment of the English curriculum with educational standards and school goals.
- Organize and conduct departmental meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Collaborate with other departments and school leadership to support overall educational goals and initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the English department, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to communicate the vision and progress of the English department.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Extensive experience teaching English, preferably at the secondary school level.
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of English curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
