The SCA role focuses on developing and managing the relationship with suppliers regarding assigned commodities (e.g. parts, components). The purpose of this role is to develop mutually beneficial, on-going relationships with suppliers through below tasks:

- Place purchase orders, manage exception messages, line stops & expedites.
- Buy new parts and determines source with Commodity Team, arrange necessary system setups, place sample PO-s
- Maintain Clean and accurate supply/demand signal for Finished Goods Sourcing.

Pro-actively Reviewing Daily Metrics file for new Releases and Backlogs to maintain clear record.

Work with Sourcing Team for New Parts/ BOM/Source setups Issues.

Work with Finance and Commodity Managers for Costing issues.

Releasing Purchase Requisitions for EMS Suppliers based on the demand driving in the system.

Creating Internal Orders for Inter-Company Warehouse Transfers.

Reducing Excess Buy/Make from Suppliers by Placing Internal Orders between Distribution Centers.

Communicate with Customer Fulfillment Team for any Delays/ Sourcing Setup/Costing issue.

Work with Customer Fulfillment Team for daily Order review cover for new Releases and Backlogs.

Reviewing and Maintaining Weekly Excess Metrics with Customer Fulfilment Team for Cancellations, Push outs, Pull ins.

Maintaining Share points/ Smartsheet’s for Order changes like Cancellations, Quantity updates, etc.,

Follow up with Inventory Allocators to improving Past Dues, Ship Dates, Cancellation Updates.

Regularly work with Cross-Functional Team for continuous improving daily Metrics file to achieve SLA.
