**Job Description Document**
**Position**:Demi Chef De Partie
**Reporting To**:Chef De Partie
**Minimum work experience of 4 years and work experience as a Commis/DCDP/CDP is required**
**Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**: Execute food preparation activities according to recipes, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of dishes.
**Cooking Expertise**: Demonstrate expertise in cooking techniques, ensuring consistency and adherence to established standards.
**Menu Contribution**:Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute innovative ideas and suggestions for menu development and improvements.
**Quality Control**: Maintain impeccable standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
**Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service, supporting colleagues as needed.
**Inventory Management**:Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring ingredients are adequately stocked while minimizing waste.
**Kitchen Hygiene**: Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, following proper sanitation procedures and regulations.
**Training Support**: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, ensuring their growth and development within the team.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or a similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in hot kitchen techniques and a strong understanding of various cooking methods.
- Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institution.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
