**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and purchase management. They will also be responsible for effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, as well as procurement activities.

**Skills**
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and electronic items.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Independently able to solve problems related to procurement processes, supplier issues, and discrepancies.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate supplier performance, market trends, and cost analysis.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Responsibilities**
- Independently identify and source new vendors for raw materials needed for the manufacturing of Mechanical, Electro-mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the equipment specifications and requirements.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulations affecting procurement.
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.
- Check purchase invoices for any discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, terms, and other details
- Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring a seamless supply chain.
- Perform and set incoming inspection methods to establish and maintain quality standards for procured materials.
- Support the Incoming Inspection process to ensure that all procured materials meet the required quality specifications.
- Communicate effectively with the Accounts/Finance team to address any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Regularly review and update procurement policies and procedures to align with ISO 13485 standards and industry best practices.
