**About the role**:
The chief operating officer position provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company. The COO reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and/or equivalent Managing Partners.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Responsible for driving revenue and managing all expenses including sales, marketing, etc.
- Maximize revenue by focusing on the Top Line and Bottom Line in order to increase profitability.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert within Employer Branding by providing the best knowledge, proper external benchmarks, best practices, and innovative solutions to support the business.
- Horizontal products / Delivery Products / Vertical Products fulfilment and its NPS.
- Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short
- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Managing Partners.
- Oversee operations and partner with Managing Partners in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Overall manpower planning - availability, recruitment, talent management, HR, employee NPS, attrition.
- Conceptualization of new vertical and horizontal products, building and roll out of products
- Knowledge management, fulfilment excellence and engineering, vertical fulfilment GM / productivity.

**Competencies and Skills**:

- Proven experience in executive leadership roles in a consulting firm, minimum 20 years of experience in the industry.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Understanding of the consulting market and types of offerings.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to understand client's needs and developing trusted relationships.
- Quick presence of mind to create sales opportunities.
- Ability to workplan, define scope and approach for assignments.
- Ability to guide and monitor project delivery teams, existing relationships in the domain of interest with senior client prospects.
- Deep understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and client management skills.

**Educational qualification and Certifications**:

- Consistent track record of academic excellence
- Demonstration of leadership in educational and professional career
- Very high drive and energy; passion for investing
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance
- MBA from a top tier (I/II) institute.
