**Job Description: Sales Executive for a Logistics Firm**
**Position**: Sales Executive
**Location**: Kerala - South India
**Job Summary**:
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth of the company by developing new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships in the logistics and supply chain sector. This individual will identify market trends, build a strong client base, and ensure customer satisfaction by offering tailored logistics solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new sales leads to expand the client portfolio.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and develop strategies for capturing market share.
- Initiate and attend meetings with prospective clients to present the company's logistics services.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Address client queries and provide solutions to their logistics challenges.
- Regularly communicate with existing clients to assess satisfaction and identify additional service needs.
- **Sales Strategy and Planning**:
- Develop and implement sales plans that align with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business agreements.
- Work closely with legal and finance departments to ensure contracts comply with company policies.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in CRM software.
- Prepare daily sales reports for management review.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
**Work Conditions**:
- Full-time position with fieldwork as needed to visit clients and attend networking events.
- May require travel to meet clients and attend industry conferences or trade shows.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
