About the Role
As a key member of the Payroll Enablement team, you support the execution of payroll enablement activity.
The team has a strong relationship with Payroll, ECHR and Governance teams. The payroll enablement team has a combination of payroll/HR system expertise, payroll delivery knowledge, vendor management and change activity management skills. Team members contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism, delivery responsibilities include:
Managing change management risks and enhancements
Contributing to bank wide initiatives with Payroll components
Managing change related programs within Reward & Pay
Performing testing activity on the new technology (Employee Central/Success Factors)
Support core payroll team deliver seamless payroll
What will your day look like?
Management of Payroll incidents coordinating across relevant teams i.e. Technology, Country, Payroll etc.
Change Enhancement - identification of change/ ticket sizing/ impact assessment on upstream & downstream processes/ providing change requirements/ testing and production cut-over
Risk management for the changes
Co-ordination with Technology to enable the change.
Supporting bank wide Payroll Initiatives
Managing releases such as regulatory changes, tax changes for Global payroll
- requirements, testing, processes, communication
Data cleaning and data migration between the system
What will you bring?
A strong technical understanding across payroll delivery, payroll systems and payroll regulatory environment, through previous payroll related experience, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Broad domain understanding of the payroll business environment in financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data management and vendor management.
Ability to work as a member in collaborative teams, utilising best practices to gather requirements in order to document, translate and verify solutions in the most efficient ways to meet payroll needs
Experience with test management, this includes understanding and working through business requirements to determine the type and level of testing required in the payroll system.
Experience contributing to complex HR/Payroll programs with multiple deliverables
Proven ability to effectively manage external & internal vendors
Be comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical teams on payroll enablement activity
Ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience with working with a broad range of stakeholders and the ability to influence
Regional knowledge and ability to lead pieces of work
Ability to resolve problems that are new and need judgement, building on existing knowledge and draw on breadth of experience and researching, exploring and experimenting.
Ability to make decisions within defined parameter and with general direction
Brings different experiences but still building breadth in toolkit
