**Your field of responsibility**

Global Operations Reference Data is a critical Credit Suisse function that requires you to work within tight deadlines, putting your ability to think, act fast and escalate quickly to test. Your typical day would involve setting up instruments in CS systems, clearing exceptions to ensure data quality is maintained, making amendments based on user feedback post performing due diligence and performing few daily tasks related to reports and sign offs. Every day you will be responsible to ensure changes emanating from corporate actions like mergers and acquisitions, splits, IPO's etc are consumed by CS systems seamlessly. You will be required to monitor such markets events and take necessary actions in our systems diligently. You will also be required to respond to ad-hoc user queries related to securities data on an ongoing basis.

This is a very important role as setting up instruments on time and maintaining data quality all throughout, is very critical for our bank to book, settle and report trades in a timely, accurate and consistent manner. Any breach would lead to potential losses, reputational risk and may also result in regulatory and client impact.

You will be working in a dynamic environment and should expect the unexpected. The role requires working mostly APAC hours based out of Pune.

**Your skills and experience**

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

- Financial instruments knowledge, ability to work in early APAC hours
- The team deals with mail box and global client so both verbal and written English communication is required
- Outstanding analytical and technical skills, attention to detail
- Proven experience in banking industry (0-2 years)
- Knowledge of financial instruments and understanding of Reference Data processes (as an asset)
- Enthusiasm and good communication skills
- Outstanding organization skills and proven ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines
- 'Can-do' attitude and ability to manage work under pressure
- Customer orientation, very good collaboration with other team members, stakeholders, data providers and other business areas on the daily basis
- Actively sharing of knowledge and best-practices within the team
- Contribution to the process optimization, participating in process-improvements and quality reviews
- Ability to deliver outstanding and creative solutions to difficult business related problems
