Ciena is looking for an energetic, highly motivated web technician to support our developer community. We’re looking for a problem solver with excellent technical skills who can maintain our developer web portal. You’ll also work with our writers and developers to ensure our content is up to date.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain HTML content on our developer portal
- Update web pages for each release
- Create CI/CD scripts for documentation projects
- Become an Antora expert
- Help with website improvements
- Project manage developer guides to ensure they are completed on time
- You’ll be integral to the success of our 'early adopter' customers

**Required Skills**:

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to update documentation on a regular basis
- Ability to plan, schedule, and be flexible
- Experience with Antora, a static site generator for documentation
- Experience with Git, web development, and HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of some programming languages, such as Java and Python
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Asciidoc a plus
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of working both independently and in teams.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
