Executive - Desktop Support

REPORTING TO : Corporate IT

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : B.Com, BTech

PRIOR EXPERIENCE : 3+ years
- Responsible for entire Plant IT Operations in consultation with Corporate IT Team, which includes but not limited to - ICM of all Servers, if any
- ICM of LAN
- ICM of Firewall, Routers & Switches
- ISPs Management (WAN & MPLS)
- Vendor Management
- User Management & Helpdesk Administration
- Information Security and end user Security Management
- IT Inventory Management
- Responsible for preparation of necessary documents & reports
- Provide necessary trainings to team members in other regions and at Corporate as per need and at the discretion of the Head
- Coordinates with Corporate IT Team and Regional IT Team Members as per requirement in handling emergency situations and cases where performance improvements are planned
- Takes up any other task as advised / directed by the Deputy Manager (Infrastructure) / Head
- Responsible for resolving IT issues of all types of users and escalate unresolved tickets to Corporate IT Team
- Coordinate with reporting person in the Corporate to ensure smooth flow of IT operations in their regions
- Responsible for handling all issues related to desktops & printers support.
- Document the activities and prepare necessary reports of their region as directed by reporting person
- Responsible for performing preventive maintenance at desktop level.
- Acts as a single point of contact for all IT related issues for all users in the region
- Responsible for registration of issues from users and smooth functioning of Helpdesk process.
- Reports to IT Executive in Corporate Office and works under the guidance of both Head and Deputy Manager (Infrastructure)

BTech, Degree in Computers

MCA preferred
