Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of proven experience in security design, penetration testing, and risk assessment
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and methodologies
- Extensive hands-on experience with a variety of security tools and technologies
- Demonstrated experience in cloud security, particularly Azure and AWS
- Solid understanding of IoT security principles and techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effectively convey technical information

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough threat modeling, vulnerability and risk assessment, and meticulous analysis of findings from penetration tests and security tools (e.g., SAST, SCA, Container vulnerability scans)
- Execute cloud security assessments with a focus on Azure and AWS, leveraging hands-on experience with various cloud security tools
- Employ a combination of commercial and open-source tools to perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Critically evaluate security vulnerability data to identify applicability and false-positives, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct penetration testing in strict adherence to the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) guidelines
- Craft detailed technical reports that outline suggested resolutions for identified problem areas, encompassing operational risk assessment

Penetration Testing Landscape:

- Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, Busybox, etc.
- Mobile Applications: iOS and Android
- Web Applications and APIs: 2-Tier, 3-Tier Architecture, Client-Side Frameworks, Databases
- Cryptography, Disassembling, and Fuzzing
- Scripting Languages: Python, Shell

CERTIFICATION:

- OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
- SANS Cyber security Certification (Demonstrating expertise in various cybersecurity domains)

AREAS OF INTEREST:

- Network Security and Web Application Security Analysis
- Penetration Testing and Risk Assessment
- Cloud security assessment, particularly Azure and AWS
- IoT hacking and security measures
