**Job Title: BIM Team Leader - Electrical**

**Reports To**:Project Manager**

**Responsibilities**:
Act as the principal coordinator between the execution team,manager and client. Keep always these three stakeholders in same page in terms of project planning, technical considerations of project, execution strategy, project milestones and quality.

Allot the job to each team lead(s), make sure each of them understands the job clearly through a kick off meeting within the execution team.

Create and Maintain project related reports and documents regularly such as delivery schedule/report, drawing list,planned vs actual,weekly and monthly status report, all types of project logs, resource allocation sheet, change orders etc.

Lead,Manage and coordinate the projects assigned to you.

Make sure the QA and QC process is completed by the lead.

Keep an eye always on the team members regarding their technical skill, soft skill, personal quality, process understanding, communication skill, team work capability etc.Find their weakness and strength and analyse them. Create report if necessary and arrange team development training accordingly. Guide,suggest,counsel and encourage and answer their doubts whenever necessary. Plan and assign task considering both of the factors i.e. individual’s skill development scope and their core strengths. Convey your report and suggestion on the same to the project manager from time to time as instructed.

Study BIM execution plan, Project Spec for project implementations. Should be a self-motivated and smart individual Should have handled a team of at least 10-15 Resources. Ensure Process Planning /workflow planning of team, Technical data management in a project file; Technical problem solving. Passionate to work on Innovative work process

Take care of the Electrical Modelling project for the team inclusive of Cable tray, Conduct, Bus bar & Duct bank, Lighting, Small power & Schematics for at least USA & Middle East projects.

Lead Scan to BIM modeling project for all Architectural & MEP services for medium size projects.

Lead clash co-ordination process among other services Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models.

Guide team to set up shop drawing standards Electrical (LV, MV), FireAlarm, Communication and other technology Services based on regional standards.

Prepare models and reports for value engineering and constructability analysis.

Design validation & Design Assistance on Design Document, schemes & schedule preparation. Understanding of International codes and standards, i.e. NEC & Other Building Codes etc.

Understand/read electrical design calculations, Panel scheduling, Load calculation, voltage drop, electrical sizing & selection, Lighting calculations, working of different Electrical & ELV systems. Interested in working on an electrical design project, Electrical design knowledge is an advantage.

Experience of working various verticals covering Commercial, Airports, Laboratory, Hospital and Industrial buildings of different continents and passionate to work on versatile projects & scope.

**Technical knowledge need to acquire additionally**:
Electrical Conduit Routing technique from schematic & panel schedule.

Conduit/raceway sizing & allowable bend radius, types & their uses, requirement of pull box & allowable run.

Electrical accessibility & constructability with respect to different types of electrical equipment, raceway & their locations.

Adapt different conduit & raceway modeling technique by following fabrication part to model as per manufacturer.

Highly skilled with manipulating different project parameters & shared parameters to manage desired visual & technical parameters.

Underground trench, duct bank, conduiting standard for accessibility & constructability.

Understanding different electrical distribution systems & frequency over different country, region & local utility supply.

Understand electrical loads based on requirements & different types of building.

Electrical Load calculation considering demand factor as per section NEC 220.

Electrical wire & cable sizing, fault current calculation & earthing cable sizing.

Conduit, raceway, cable tray sizing & filling based on feeder sizing.

Voltage drop calculations & validation of allowable voltage drop.

Panel sizing, Equipment sizing, Transformer sizing, Generator sizing.

Understanding Different ELV systems (Communication,FA, Audio visual, Security, access control, nurse call & others.) their functionalities, working principles.

Understand lumen of light fixture, Lux level required for different places & calculation of number of light or Illuminance level calculation.

Fire alarm system working principle, system coverage, wire sizing, battery sizing, selection of system.
