**Position**: Floor Supervisor

**About the Restaurant**: [Italian restaurant]

As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the dining area within our Italian restaurant. Your primary objective will be to maintain high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and team performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the dining area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment as necessary.
- Train, lead, and motivate dining staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare reports on dining area performance, sales metrics, and inventory management.
- Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and gastronomic culture.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to sudden changes.
- Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
