**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Resource should have 7-10 years of experience in running sourcing projects independently for categories specifically categories Marketing, Professional services Facilities, MRO
- Strong Strategic sourcing experience
- Should have a strong mix of experiences in the categories Marketing, Professional services Facilities, MRO
- Experience in leading sourcing events in designated APAC/India country
- Contracting experience in categories Marketing, Professional services Facilities, MRO Facilities designated APAC/India country
- Managing sourcing suppliers and related stakeholders
- Driving change management through education and compliance improvement activities
- Manage exceptions to established category strategy
- Execute competitive bid events
- Communicate and negotiate with clients and suppliers through all levels of organization
- Perform periodic analysis within managed commodity scope to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Promote process efficiencies through focus on automated channels where applicable
- Identify appropriate potential suppliers to fit client’s business objectives
- Negotiate and contract with exception suppliers Driving additional savings and value
- Communicate supplier recommendations to clients based on objective criteria and fit for client business
- Optimize supply base opportunities across managed commodities
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Strong English-speaking competency (written and spoken skillset)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Needs to be self-managing, assertive, build stakeholder relationships and expand work with stakeholders. An extravert that can cultivate work, talk to people, and drive confidence in client’s business teams, supporting increased spend under proper sourcing management
- Sourcing buyer must own stakeholder’s pipeline, create relationships/trust with stakeholders, share status with client point of contact and have an Asia regional viewpoint in reflection on projects
- Strong Sourcing Analytics skills for Tail spend management and supplier analysis to support category strategy development and compliance
- Excellent knowledge of running Facilities, MRO and construction projects for APAC/India
- Comprehensive commercial procurement and client facing and consulting experience
- Ability to manage sourcing projects independently and understand when to collaborate with internal and client leadership to gain support for removing roadblocks to success
