**Description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize, design and detail the components & LRU's for aerospace power system
- Responsible for electrical & magnetic design and analysis using FEM tools and other analytical methods.
- Responsible for manufacturing, build & test the proto of the product designed.
- Responsible for transfer of technology to production team - Documentation for assembly process, work instructions, test procedures and test report.
- Responsible to guide and help production team as required for any technical clarifications during production phase.
- Responsible to train and lead the junior team as required.

**Job Requirements**

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Experience in design and development of magnetics - Power transformer (SMPS, auto transformer, high frequency/high power etc ), Signal transformers (audio, pulse etc.), current transformers, Planar transformers, coils, chokes, contactors, relays etc.
- Experience in PCB design, Gerber generation, IPC standards is an added advantage
- Expertise in analytical design and CAD design with FEM tools.
- Experience in CAD and analysis tools for design.
- Experience in creating new designs from scratch, proto development and testing.
- Experience in dealing with the new product development life cycle
- Deep understanding and experience related to new product development process.
- Innovative thinking for new technology developments.
