Job Summary: As Purchase cum Storekeeper, you will oversee procurement and inventory, ensuring seamless operations. Responsibilities include sourcing quality ingredients, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet sourcing needs and uphold quality and sustainability standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced environment
**Responsibilities**:
1. Sourcing and Procurement:
- Identify and establish relationships with suppliers for high-quality ingredients, materials,
and miscellaneous items.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and maintain quality
standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs for culinary and
wellness offerings.
2. Inventory Management:
- Work alongside internal teams to maintain adequate stock levels for daily operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment as needed.
- Utilize procurement software or systems to maintain accurate records of purchases and
supplier agreements.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular quality assessments of sourced goods to ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
- Address any supplier issues or discrepancies promptly to ensure smooth operations.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements during
the procurement process.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and legal to
streamline processes and drive efficiency.
- Support special tasks and initiatives related to sourcing, procurement, and sustainability
efforts as assigned.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and implement appropriate controls to
minimize operational disruptions
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree/Diploma or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement or inventory management, preferably in Bangalore
hospitality or F&B is a must.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office suite.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sustainability criteria.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
