**About this opportunity**:
Within Cognitive Software Engineering, we offer the opportunity to collaborate with highly qualified teams all around the world and enable success stories for our customers. As a Product Owner in the App Common Components, you will be responsible to define and drive end-to-end development of common components required for all product areas. As part of your role, you will translate the given product strategy into actionable tasks and lead cross-functional agile teams to make sure that they are executing on those requirements. The role requires individuals to demonstrate state-of-the-art cloud software development understanding and at the same time demonstrate team leadership and excellent communication skills. We expect you to drive continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and ways of working and act with flexibility to find solutions better than yesterday. Furthermore, demonstrated experience in network design, optimization, and operations as well as state-of-the art technologies would be preferred.

**What you will do**:
We expect you to understand product & software development, product life cycle and have proficient knowledge about network design, optimization, operation, and machine learning. You need to be creative, innovative, and lead other people.
- Maintain, prioritize, and visualize the product backlog
- Support multi-functional agile teams into their development
- Work with the system architect to govern the development progress to ensure the result is aligned with the agreed expectations and timelines
- Own end-to-end product development, hence is accountable to understand all technical product details to be able to strategically guide the development and resolve conflicts
- Communicate voice of customer/technology evolution to the development team
- Support product mangers to engage with customers, other organizations and stakeholders to showcase product value and development progress
- Challenge status quo, explore new opportunities and kick-off specific workstreams
- Ensure way of working and process adherence

**You will bring**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant experience as a Product Owner or similar role in cloud-native software development
- Deep understanding of network optimization & operation business
- Deep technical knowledge of network design, optimization and network operations
- Superb communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- High energy and ability to meet commitments
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Fluent English is a must; written and spoken
