**About the Employer**
**Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India** is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3500 professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

**Role and responsibilities**:
The associate works closely with business managers to enhance and identify risks and opportunities along with creating budgets and forecasting for both direct and indirect expenses in the Fraud and Customer Protection services organization. The associate will also review, analyze and make recommendations regarding incoming and outgoing expenses. In addition, the employee will develop management reports and track actual expenses vs. budget or forecasts with appropriate variance explanations. Core activities associated with the position include the following:
- Manage total recoverable expense base
- Develop the annual budget and monthly forecasts
- Prepare expense tracking for key initiatives
- Partner with senior leadership team and serving as their main finance contact
- Support (design/modify/review) the reporting around EMRs, Performance dashboards, expenses, and headcount as per business requirements
- Consolidate, monitor, and present month-end close results
- Consolidate reporting & analysis of operating expenses by functional departments and business segments as well as line of business
- Track and analyze business-specific unit costs
- Effectively analyze and report variances of actual results to budget and forecast
- Preparation of insightful, high quality Senior Management presentations
- Support ad hoc requests from the Business, Senior Management, and CCB P&A.
- Contribute to driving expense reduction initiatives across CCB
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain & Coordinate calendar of deliverables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably in Retail Financial Services/Banking Industry and/or accounting/management background
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Tableau, Alteryx and knowledge of Essbase/Dodeca preferred
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and working with varied data sets
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging status quo
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management, adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
- Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
