Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products.
The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

Team Description:
The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering Financial Reporting, Planning, Modelling and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance teams.
This position would perform proactive analysis on branch performance to provide recommendations on target setting for new branches and help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports.
Also this role requires active involvement in automation of current and new reports.**Role and Responsibilities: - Analyze the historical branch performance and provide recommendations on funding decisions to open new branches, consolidation of branches, purchase vs lease options, relocation of branches or any other capital expenditure
- Designing new reports and developing processes to automate reports
- Automating existing reports and reducing manual efforts to the minimum using advanced excel skills including macros and suggesting other tools to streamline the processes followed by implementation
- Resetting commitments for new branches based on historical performance
- Develop strong business understanding and key metrics that drive the decision making process
- Maintaining complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis and setup processes to maintain accuracy
- Summarizing the drivers behind branch performance including profitability, breakeven, payback etc.
- Continuous focus on improving and maintaining high degree of accuracy
- Support any standard reports as well as adhoc requests reporting requests
- Present financial results to leaders in the organization
- Constant focus on automating manual processes
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in Financial Planning or modelling
- Good communication and strong excel skills.
- Advance excel skill including VBA
- Working knowledge of Essbase
- Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentatio
