**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in the installation and assembly** of elevators and other vertical transportation systems by following instructions from senior technicians.
- **Support routine maintenance activities**, including cleaning and lubricating mechanical parts, inspecting cables, and ensuring elevator shafts and equipment rooms are safe and organized.
- **Help troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues** by providing tools, materials, and assistance to elevator technicians.
- **Prepare and maintain work areas**, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly organized and in good condition.
- **Carry out minor repairs** under the supervision of experienced technicians, including replacing damaged components or performing adjustments to control systems.
- **Adhere to safety protocols** and guidelines during all tasks, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and the team.
- **Follow company policies and procedures** while assisting in ensuring compliance with local and national safety regulations.
- **Communicate effectively with the team**, reporting any issues, and providing updates on work progress.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or ITI certification in a relevant field (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a mechanical or electrical field is an advantage but not required.
