**About the Project**:
Young Adults for Accessible, Respectful, and Inclusive Reproductive Health Initiatives (YAARI) will support Country’s FP2030 vision through development and implementation of Policies, guidelines and protocols that promote and lead to establishing Quality, gender-sensitive and equitable, provision for SRH/FP services.

The project will undertake supply-side interventions as well as demand generation activities for strengthening SRH/FP service provision through innovative program models that empower health care providers, beneficiaries, especially the Youth/Adolescents to increasingly access SRH/FP services in select districts of five states namely Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Haryana

YAARI will encourage volunteerism, inclusion, informed choice and accountability. It will engage with diverse stakeholders from public and private sectors and civil society at the National and state levels and bolster local community governance platforms to successfully address the emerging SRH/FP priorities. The project will support the country in consolidating and sharing its learnings through a National/Regional SRH/FP Learning Exchange Platform.
- Provide technical advice to the project on meaningful youth engagement and participation to effectively advocate for inclusive FP/SRH services & policies.
- Responsible for forming a Youth Advisory Cell that will provide inputs for all policy level activities and designing of program interventions. The role of this cell will be to raise the concerns/needs of young population at each level.
- Support the National and State governments in building capacity of the health system to ensure implementation of the Youth-centric SRH/FP guidelines as per the FP 2030 Vision.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive youth engagement strategy aligned with the goals of the YAAARI initiative.
- Develop and implement a capacity development plan for youths and adolescents targeted within the scope of the project.
- Provide mentoring and coaching support on youth networks & council formation/strengthening to enhance youth leadership and participation within the SRHR agenda.
- Promote the participation and meaningful engagement of vulnerable youth in the design, development, and review of policies.
- Work closely with other programme consortium members to promote what works, to capture learning and best practices around meaningful youth engagement.
- Design legal framework, organizational structure, and comprehensive guidelines for Youth Development Innovations addressing issues of youth/adolescents.
- Facilitate regular meetings, gather feedback, and empower youth members to contribute to program development.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring youth, youth led CSOs, on meaningful youth engagement & participation.
- Closely work with the respective line ministries, and other government and non-government structures, and undertake operational research programs on marginalized youth and their access towards quality SRHR services.
- Undertake any other project related work assigned by your direct supervisor from time to time.

**Required skills & qualification**:

- 13-15 Years of Experience with sectoral youth development strategies & policies, particularly around Adolescents & Youth Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights.
- Experience implementing youth engagement capacity building approaches, and youth focused trainings.
- Strong understanding of youth network formation, different youth platforms at regional/global levels focused on SRHR agenda.
- Strong understanding of Social Accountability, policy engagement & advocacy approaches.
- Master’s degree in public health, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in youth engagement, advocacy, or related roles.
- Understanding of FP/SRH issues and challenges faced by youth and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and innovation in program design for youth engagement.
