We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team and contribute to the educational enrichment of our students through the effective management of our library resources.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the school library and ensure that it remains a welcoming and conducive space for learning and exploration.
- Develop and maintain the library collection, selecting and acquiring materials that support the curriculum, student interests, and recreational reading.
- Catalog and classify library materials using appropriate systems and standards, ensuring accurate and accessible records for easy retrieval.
- Assist students and faculty in locating and utilizing library resources, providing guidance on research strategies, information literacy skills, and technology tools.
- Promote reading culture through engaging library programs, book clubs, author visits, and other literacy initiatives.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources and services into classroom instruction, supporting curriculum objectives and enriching learning experiences.
- Organize and promote special events and activities in the library, such as book fairs, reading challenges, and cultural celebrations.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in library science and educational technology, and incorporate innovative approaches to library services.
- Maintain library policies and procedures, including circulation policies, overdue fines, and patron privileges, in accordance with school guidelines and standards.
- Supervise library assistants, volunteers, and student aides, delegating tasks as needed and fostering a supportive team environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in a library or educational setting, preferably in a school environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach to serving library users.
- Proficiency in library automation systems, cataloging software, and digital resource management tools.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in library collections and services.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic school environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
