Junior Librarian

**Overview**: The junior Librarian for Grades 3-5 is responsible for creating an inviting and supportive library environment that encourages young students library environment that encourages young students to explore the world of literature, develop a love for reading, and improve their research skills. This position involves assisting students, teachers, and parents in utilizing the library resources, curating age-appropriate collections, and fostering a lifelong appreciation for books and knowledge.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Library Management**:

- Maintain the organization and orderliness of the library space, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for students.
- Manage the circulation system, including checking in and out of books, tracking due dates, and handling fines.

**Collection Development**:

- Select, acquire, and catalog books, magazines, and other materials suitable for students in grade 3-5.
- Regularly update the collection to reflect diverse interests, reading levels, and curriculum requirements.
- Collaborate with teacher to align library resources with classroom needs and projects.

**Qualification**:

- A bachelor's degree in library science, education, or a related field.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for reading, literature, and fostering literacy in young learners.
- Knowledge of library management system and technology.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
