Job Description: Billing Executive in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)

Position Overview:
The Billing Executive in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) is responsible for managing and overseeing the billing processes related to construction projects in the MEP domain. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of the MEP industry's billing practices. The Billing Executive works closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing Management: Prepare and process billing invoices for MEP projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms, company policies, and relevant regulations.

2. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather relevant project data and ensure that all billable items and expenses are captured correctly.

3. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and verification to ensure that billing data aligns with project documentation, change orders, and other relevant records.

4. Documentation and Records: Maintain a comprehensive record of all billing-related documents, contracts, change orders, and correspondence for each project.

5. Client Communication: Establish effective communication channels with clients to address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide clear explanations of billing details.

6. Reporting: Generate regular reports on project billing status, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable to the management team.

7. Payment Follow-up: Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients and resolving any payment-related issues.

8. Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, pricing agreements, and terms of payment.

9. Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant tax regulations and coordinate with the finance department for tax-related matters.

10. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate billing processes and identify opportunities for improvement to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

11. Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to team members on billing procedures, software usage, and industry best practices.

12. Financial Audits: Assist in financial audits related to project billing and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in accounting and project management are advantageous.
- Experience: Prior experience in billing, accounting, or finance, preferably in the construction industry, especially in MEP projects, is highly beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using billing and accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with project management tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the MEP industry, its billing practices, and project documentation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential to accurately process billing data and prevent errors.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Ethics and Integrity: Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial information.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
