Roles Responsibility:
- Greeting and welcoming patients.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar.
- Handling phone calls and directing inquiries.
- Assisting with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and upholding confidentiality.
- Providing information and assistance to patients and visitors.
- Coordinating with medical staff for patient care.
- Managing office supplies and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Being prepared to handle emergencies.
- Continuing education and training to stay updated on healthcare practices and regulations.
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional certification or coursework in medical office administration, healthcare management, or related field is beneficial.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems or medical billing software.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical billing practices.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
