The Account Associate plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of an organization by assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role collaborates with the finance team to maintain financial records,reconcile accounts, and provide the necessary documentation for audits and reporting. The Account Associate also assists in generating financial reports and supports the overall financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. General Accounting:

- Assist in recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts

receivable entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper classification and coding of transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

- Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company

policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies.

3. Financial Reporting:

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets,and cash flow statements.
- Compile and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
- Prepare variance analysis and identify trends or issues requiring attention.
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.

4. Auditing and Compliance:

- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits. Assist in preparing required documentation and schedules for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Contribute to the implementation of internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

5. Financial Systems and Tools:

- Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to perform tasks effectively.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data in the accounting system.
- Assist in system upgrades and process improvements as needed.
- Provide support in training employees on financial systems and processes.

6. Financial Analysis and Support:

- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in special financial projects as assigned.
- Support the finance team in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- 2+ years experience minimum needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,835.16 - ₹22,307.20 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
