**Job Description and Qualifications**

**I. **

1. Able to perform as Lead.
- 2. Should be self-driven for the Construction of Class 3/4 level Project.
- 3. Should have Construction Planning and Quantity Survey experience.
- 4. Manage Professional Relations with all Stake Holders.
- 5. Lead the construction planning & Scheduling.**II. DIMENSIONS**:

- Responsible for setting baselines, scheduling, planning and reporting skills in large scale construction projects - Refinery & Petrochemicals.
- Activity measurement at any stage and suggesting corrective action with control measures if deviations are traced.
- Proactively and regularly co-ordinate with the engineering, procurement & construction teams and activities.
- Identify critical paths and ensure action plans are developed and implemented to maximize project quality, cost and delivery objectives. Should be able to contribute to Change Management towards contractors/client in case of contractual deviations.
- Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones. Should be able to monitor & control the construction activities as per schedule & contract terms & condition.
- Reviewing in conjunction with the Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional cost can be identified.
- Preparing and reviewing proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local regulations.
- Reviewing the overall project status with the project management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.

**III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This position is accountable for the following end results:

- 1) Result oriented, should be able to perform and drive the construction activities as per planned schedule.
- 2) Should be able to monitor & control the Construction activities from commencement until handover.
- 3) Should be able to monitor the contractor performance in line with the contract requirement.
- 4) Ensure Safety & Quality Performance for the construction activities at Site.
- 5) Ensure all Construction execution shall be within Cost and Schedule.
- 6) Able to coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.
- 7) Ensure proper hand over of all the construction areas in line with the contract requirement.**IV. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from reputed Institute.
- 2. Minimum 10-15 years of Overall Experience in Process Plant, minimum five years as Lead Construction Planner for large scale project.
- 3. Experience in Project Control/ Construction Planning of EPC Project in Process Plant, Refinery, Petro-Chemical Industry
- 4. Experience of latest Planning tools like Advance work Packaging & Earned value management.**V. Skills**
- Excellent English language proficiency required.
- Strong & articulate communicator.
- Proven leadership skills & core competencies in project construction planning tools & system.
- High ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in P-6/ MS Projects, MS office tools like Word / Excel / Power points.
- Hands on experience in latest Construction Management tools.
