OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
**_ Manual transcription:_**
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe the spoken content into clear and accurate written text.
- Review and edit transcriptions, generated by AI, to ensure they are free of errors and accurately reflect the original content.
- Format transcriptions according to Guidepoint specifications and standards. Ensure Guidepoint editorial style guide and protocols are adhered to.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Meet deadlines for transcription projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize transcription software and tools as needed.
- Communicate with team members or team leader or QA leads to clarify any uncertainties regarding the content or format.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience (2+ years) in transcribing for specific industries (e.g., legal, medical, financial)
- Certification or training in transcription is a plus.
- Familiarity with transcription software and tools is a plus.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to comprehend various accents and speech patterns.
- Proficiency in typing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; Effective time management and organizational skills
