- Responsible for total branch product performance in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- This position shall be responsible for Development and processing of all ocean freight related businesses of West/North/South as pertains to be.
- Manages the tactical activities for branch area of assignment related to order to maximize profitability, ensure key targets for company growth, profitability on Ocean freight are met by planning, directing, monitoring and controlling the company’s operations
- Oversees workforce planning and development for the branch to ensure employee capability and performance align with DBS’s overall business needs.
- Ensures compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
- Manage Field Sales Team to keep, develop and secure business with new and existing Ocean customers.
- Monitors the market to acquire new business.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management or any related fields such as transport, logistics, supply chain etc.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in the industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong sales competencies such as, Strategic Selling Skills, Strategic Account Management Skills, Customer-centric, Presentation and Negotiation Skills
- Result oriented
- Analytical skills to solve complex problems
- Strong writing and oral communication skills - competent in English language both written and spoken
