We are the leading chemical exporters and suppliers of organic and inorganic chemicals based in India. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a transport and storage officer in the chemical industry. As a Transport and Store Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient transportation and storage of our products. This position requires exceptional planning and coordination skills to effectively manage logistics and maintain inventory accuracy.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods from production facilities to warehouses or customer locations
- Develop and implement transportation plans to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues encountered during transit
- Collaborate with carriers and suppliers to negotiate transportation rates and monitor their performance
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to protect the integrity and quality of our products during transportation and storage
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage techniques are followed
- Monitor and maintain the condition of transportation and storage equipment, scheduling repairs and maintenance as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

**Ability to commute/Relocate**:

- Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:
