As the Financial Control professional in our Consumer & Community Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

You will be a member of the Marketing Investment Analytics team within Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) business supporting the Card marketing groups and finance functions. This team provides strategic guidance on marketing spend relating to credit card business.

You will help support the marketing and finance teams in all aspects of business. You will use Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau in conjunction with JPMorgan's financial tools to create meaningful reports and analysis. Excellent ability to understand business financials, juggle shifting priorities and connect the dots and excellent communication skills are the key to success in this role. You will be an individual contributor and will be expected to leverage your experience and expertise to work closely with the wider team to add value to the team and business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed analysis and report deferred marketing expenses to accounting team - a highly critical process for meeting the FAS91 submissions for marketing expense accrual accounting
- Assume responsibility for the spend queue, and ensuring timely and accurate processing. Provide an ongoing support and guidance for effective utilization of spend tool to users
- Create, analyze and maintain budgeting templates for marketing team across the card busines. Partner with the MIS team to evaluate and report the segmented view of Marketing expenses
- Independently own and report the year to date marketing expenses and the left to spend for marketing CFO teams
- Partner with marketing and business teams for project code creation for newly acquired marketing relationships. Provide informative business financial information and coordinate marketing budget planning and management
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve the project code fall outs as part of reconciliation effort of marketing spend
- Partner effectively with finance, marketing teams and CFOs
- Present results and recommendations clearly and concisely. Keep working procedures up to date, Identify and undertake process automation efforts and implement changes as needed
- Streamline spend-related workflows to enhance operational efficiency

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in client management and marketing expense reporting
- Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
- Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Tableau, Alteryx will be an added advantage
