Job Description: Expense Management Team Leader

Responsible for overseeing and managing a team that handles employee expenses, including travel claims, advances, and related accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of employees responsible for expense processing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve escalated issues and provide guidance to team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of expense transactions.
- Prepare and analyze various expense reports, including HOD expense reports.
- Coordinate with the finance team on accounting matters.
- Handle TDS/TCS calculations and filings.
- Train and onboard new team members on claims processing.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for expense processes.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as HR, finance, and CRM, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct induction and training sessions on travel policy and claims processing.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in expense management or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of expense processing and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
