Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is seeking highly motivated individuals with comprehensive commercial procurement and client facing or consulting experience to join our team of procurement professionals. Specifically, we are looking for procurement professionals to join IBM’s Global Procurement team in support of IBM Procurement Services business area, servicing IBM’s external clients.
Responsibility
- Reading, evaluating, drafting, and revising contracts with customers
- Understanding and documenting the scope, schedule, terms, and risks of contracts
- Providing advice and guidance to different teams on contract generation and execution
- Issuing opening letters and change orders
- Collaborating with project managers to ensure contract obligations are met
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
- Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
- Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
- Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
- Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Yes, 3-5 years of Procurement Outsoucing experience including vendor negotiation
- Perform in matrix organization
- Perform time management, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
- Ability to complete staff-work to a high standard
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Analytical and excellent communication skill
