**Job Summary**:The Restaurant Captain plays a leadership role in the restaurant, overseeing the dining area and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position involves supervising the waitstaff, coordinating the flow of service, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for guests. The Restaurant Captain collaborates closely with the Restaurant Manager to enhance the overall dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Coordination**:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members based on business needs.

**Customer Service**:Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist waitstaff in providing exceptional service.

**Table Management**:Monitor the reservation system to optimize table allocation and guest seating.
Ensure proper table setups and that all tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.
Oversee the pacing of service to maintain a steady flow of orders and ensure a positive dining experience.

**Training and Development**:Train new waitstaff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance the skills of the waitstaff.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate specials, promotions, and any relevant information.

**Quality Control**:Ensure the quality of food presentation and service meets or exceeds established standards.
Monitor cleanliness and organization in the dining area, addressing any issues promptly.
Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.

**Conflict Resolution**:Address customer complaints or conflicts in a diplomatic and effective manner.
Work with the Restaurant Manager to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

**Upselling and Promotion**:Encourage waitstaff to upsell menu items and promote specials.
Monitor sales trends and provide feedback on successful upselling strategies.

**Collaboration with Kitchen Staff**:Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Address any issues or discrepancies between the front and back of the house.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or captain role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 2 years (preferred)
