Hiring for our India team working with London Equity Structuring desk:
**Specific responsibilities include**:

- Live Pricing of structured equity products for clients
- Assessing clients’ needs and creating customized solutions, with the help of sales and onshore structuring teams
- Idea generation based on market conditions and for targeting clients
- Secondary market pricing (Add On and Unwinds)
- Working with Traders and Quants to develop and improve the functionality and scope of existing pricing/back-testing infrastructure (Python and VBA)
- Reporting analytics for business insights and support
- Double scripting (new scripted pay-offs need to be scripted twice in parallel to be validated)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for structured equity product pricing; maintaining and enhancing the pricing platform
- Working with multiple stakeholders from MO and FO to ensure to tackle any bottlenecks
- Working with sales and trading to generate marketing material for new products, run back tests and perform pricing

- Reactivity on pricing requests
- Smooth working of the pricing platform
- Quick turnaround for ad-hoc queries
- Back testing various strategies and presenting the results
- Positive feedback from the desk

**Stakeholders**
- Global Head of Structuring
- Structuring team in London and Bangalore
- Sales teams in Europe
- Equities Management team
- Internal Collaboration - Develops close and effective working relationships within respective Functions /Businesses
- Ensures that customer propositions or business improvement programmers demonstrate clear, measurable, worthwhile benefits over the short, medium and long-term and identifies the full range of implications on the future success of the business
- Build a good relationship with the Global teams, to ensure communication lines are fluid.

- Feedback from onshore and offshore colleagues

**Operational Effectiveness & Control**
- Aims at operational effectiveness and the delivery of the desired results
- Continuing development, implementation and improvement of the processes, structures, capabilities, capacity and infrastructure needed
- Establish and maintain a robust and efficient control environment across the team together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise

- Infrastructure and capabilities have measurable impact on operational effectiveness
- Adequately manage various projects and initiatives leading to process or functionality improvement and reduction of operational risk

**Leadership & Teamwork**
- Assisting other members of the Structuring desk with issues
- Addressing queries from stakeholders
- Working with structuring and IT to enhance pricing platform and develop MI tools

- Effective support within the team, good feedback from members
- Effective collaboration and communication with the teams onshore and offshore

- The role is split across multiple asset classes/geographies with competing demands, requiring the role holder to manage priorities effectively with stakeholders and within the regional team
- Managing multiple time-sensitive tasks, potentially across several stakeholders

- The structurer will be responsible for supporting the flow business - pricing, platform development and infrastructure enhancement
- Will liaise with different parties - trading, sales and structuring desks
- Should be able to work with quant dev and structuring teams to enhance the infrastructure by developing new pricing modules
- Track market movements and be able to use it for idea generation and product analytics
