**MAIN JOB PURPOSE**:

This position plays a pivotal role in strategy, design, delivery, and optimization of the CD platform, in close partnership with business and global teams. This is the best role at the intersection of business and technology and to understand product management. The Senior Analytics Engineer is a critical member of the data team.

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Cloud Strategy and Design:

- Develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Design scalable and flexible cloud architectures considering factors such as performance, security, and cost.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Develop and maintain reusable templates and scripts for infrastructure deployment.

Cloud Migration:

- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises or legacy systems to cloud environments.
- Mitigate risks and address challenges associated with cloud adoption.

Security and Compliance:

- Define and enforce security best practices for cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.

Performance Optimization:

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.

Cost Management:

- Implement strategies for cost optimization, including monitoring resource utilization and selecting cost-effective cloud services.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing costs while maintaining performance.

Documentation:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and design.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Security Knowledge:

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience implementing security controls and measures in cloud environments.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
