As an FMCG Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales activities within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail sector. You will oversee a team of sales representatives and work closely with key accounts and distributors to drive sales growth, meet targets, and enhance market presence. Your role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and monitoring market trends to maximize sales opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth within the FMCG retail sector.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to drive their success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers, ensuring effective collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expenses, ensuring cost-effective sales operations and profitability.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations with the sales team to track progress, address challenges, and provide support and training as needed.
- Stay updated with industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Prepare regular sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for management, highlighting key performance indicators, market insights, and sales achievements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role within the FMCG retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FMCG products, market dynamics, and retail sales strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to analyse market trends, sales data, and customer insights to drive sales growth.
- Proactive and result-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software for sales tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and visit sales territories.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹40,000.00 per month
