We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Music Publishing Supervisor to

join our team. This role involves guiding and supporting independent artists

through the onboarding process, helping them understand and navigate the

in music business, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to

support and advocate for independent artists.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Onboarding Independent Artists:

- Assist independent artists with the sign-up process for music publishing

services.
- Provide clear and concise information about the benefits and processes of

music publishing.
- Ensure artists understand their rights and the revenue opportunities

available to them.

2. Education and Support:

- Conduct informative sessions and workshops to educate artists about

music publishing.
- Answer queries and provide ongoing support to artists regarding their

publishing rights.
- Develop educational materials and resources to help artists understand

their music rights effectively.

3. Contract Management:

- Review and manage publishing contracts with independent artists.
- Ensure contracts are clear, fair, and beneficial to both the artist and the

company.
- Maintain accurate records of all signed agreements and related

documentation.

4. Relationship Building:

- Foster strong, trusting relationships with independent artists and their

management team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for artists throughout their publishing

journey.
- Engage with artists regularly to understand their needs and address any

concerns.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with the management team to ensure compliance with

industry regulations.
- Collaborate with marketing and A&R teams to identify and attract

promising independent artists.
- Coordinate with the royalty department to ensure timely and accurate

payment processing.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Entertainment Law, or a related

field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in music publishing or a related area.
- Proven track record of working with independent artists is highly

desirable.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of music publishing rights, royalties, and industry

standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging

manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and contract management

skills.
- Proficiency in music publishing software and databases.
