Contract Negotiator
This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
We are a dedicated team of lawyers and legal personnel based in the ‘Agility Centre’, that is currently being setup in Bangalore (India) that will support the OLAA globally. The Agility Centre is part of the OCOO & wider OLAA and provide assistance to OLAA and HPE’s customer-facing businesses in negotiating and advising on diverse matters such as Data Privacy, GDPR, Corporate Secretarial, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption Compliances etc.
The Agility Centre is expected to provide high-quality, practical, commercially-focussed, cost effective and legal advice and support services (in accordance with HPE ethical standards and policies).

We support various projects for the Ethics & Compliance Office and attorneys who administer internal policies to avoid situations that may create, or appear to create, a conflict of interest between personal interests and the interests of clients.
1.Required Core Competencies and Experience
- Demonstrable analytical skills in general Compliance and Regulatory/Statutory Compliances
- Support Ethics and Compliance policies.
- Support the internal stakeholders and managing multiple clients, deals, tasks and deadlines
- Support various Projects for the HPE's compliances.
**2.Required Qualifications and Personal Attributes**:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognised institution and strong academic background
- Between 2-4 years Post Qualification experience in the relevant profile, role and industry gained in either a large multinational corporation with a substantial in-house legal department or LPO
- Ability to effectively communicate with executives at all levels of the organization
- Strong time-management, prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to be detail-oriented, organized, flexible but adhere to clear timelines
- Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Individual who is passionate about work in the area of ethics and compliance, exhibits excellent judgment, can prioritize risks and projects, and partner well with others.
**3.Desirable experience and personal attributes**:
- Demonstrates high degree of capability to make sound logical decisions based on policy guidelines, an ability to learn processes and create documentation and manuals, exercise sound business judgment, work collaboratively, and engage in critical thinking and analysis
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills.
