An exciting opportunity has arisen as **Quality & Manufacturing Inspector**.

In this role, you will be a part of the Quality Team in our Deck Machinery and Motion Control division - delivering key support to the business. You will follow up production at external suppliers and KM facilities worldwide. In close cooperation with project members do perform early design review, evaluate inspections and test plans as well as test and inspection capabilities.

You will be able to verify that the necessary documentation is in place at our suppliers. You will be trusted to witness and evaluate testing based on established Inspection and Test Plans performed at internal and external suppliers’ facilities. You will contribute to continual improvement of our Quality Framework and Technical Instructions in line with our core Business Management System.

**Key accountabilities**
- You will visit our suppliers to evaluate their capability based on project specifications
- Work with the suppliers achieving acceptable quality and on time delivery
- Keep close overview of the production and delivery plan
- Verify that the quality is according to KM specifications by reviewing relevant documentation
- Guide our suppliers in accordance with the agreed Quality Framework and Requirements.
- Contribute to good communication between suppliers and Kongsberg Maritim
- You will be accountable for deliveries with respect to scope of work.

**Qualifications and experience**
- Working experience with QA and/or HSE management
- Knowledge and relevant experience working with ISO9001
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and Non-Conformity handling
- Certificate of apprenticeship or bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Relevant working experience in system engineering, assembly or commissioning
